Days on

There are days of which before the sun could even rise you’re up at your feet. You emmensely wake up indulged by God’s confidence that being up early fills you up with graceful energy.
Your sheets be scented with lavender
that gives you hope of beggining a new day.
On that day, with high heels slash your suited suit, all wavery of metaphors you walk like the prince whose an heir to the throne, yes! all glamour of positivity. You’d hope and pray for such days to never end.

Whilst other days, it’s as though the world have turned against you and karma has depicted your life. As you see the sun rising, you close the curtains just to draw yourself back in your sheets. Everything tends to be a mess that you wouldn’t think of what to do but rather Netflix and chill.
It’s the world we live in. Some days be good,
some not so good. You can’t always have it all.

  1. Tell me the 1st thing you do exactly the moment you jump off the bed or even before you do anything

Let me guess 🤔 ( grab your phone) right?

    1. The first thing before I do anything, I do my prayer. And than yes my phone but not in all cases.
But, this is not what this post is about, it’s a contradiction between days; example on days like Monday and Friday. Monday is seen yet described by many as a blue Monday, not wanting to go to work on the first day of the week where as Friday, seen as a beggining of a weekend and yeah you know the rest.
You don’t expect everytime the sun rising to have the same energy. Wether you’re the best student in class or you being the best at doing your job, there’d always be days where you do not feel like going school nor sitting in that beautiful chair at your office.

    2. The theory around picking up your phone before anything else is notorious. It really doesn’t mean that just because I have the phone in my hands than I’m stalking others on insta or Facebook. I could be on my phone but doing something productive, example creating content to post on my blog. I could be reading the Bible on the Bible App on my phone. There’s nothing wrong with picking your phone first before doing anything else, what matters is what exactly it is that you’re doing on that phone, how one feels about it and how productive it is regards to what they are doing.
